Brad traveled to Zaragoza, Mexico, in April to teach a small gathering of men at Ranchos dos Countries.
This outreach ministry to the poor in five area cities—distributing food, clothing, and school supplies, and conducting street evangelism and children’s programs—is run by Fernando and Debra Martinez.
A growing area of ministry is reaching young men in the streets who, because of domestic issues or drug use, roam these cities as young as age ten. Ministry to all men in the communities has struggled, though. Indeed, at the church Brad spoke at in Zaragoza on Sunday, of the 80-100 people in attendance, only 8 or so were men. The day before, Brad led two introductory MOV sessions for the men ages 11-80, and they responded with enthusiasm, asking many questions and actively participating in the breakout groups. After the Sunday service, a pastor texted that one of the street boys who had attended the meetings asked if he could receive Christ!
Please pray for the host team as they reach out to churches and men in the communities and invite them to the first full Men of Valor Conference in Mexico in October 2022!
