After 13 years, Men of Valor (MOV) returned to India for four transformative conferences, thanks to the generous support of Lebanon Valley Bible Church (LVBC) in Lebanon, PA. Our journey took us to Peddapalli, Warangal, and Chennai—cities where MOV had never held conferences before.
LVBC member Matt Stern joined Indian national pastor and longtime MOV friend, evangelist Johnson Devakumar, and me in leading jumpstart men’s discipleship conferences alongside Pastor Christudas Earla of GAP Ministries. GAP’s mission extends beyond discipleship, focusing on church planting, food distribution, housing assistance, and job training for unbelievers and persecuted Christians.
Altogether, over 420 pastors and church leaders, some traveling up to 350 miles, attended the conferences. One-third of these leaders committed to launching men’s discipleship groups in their churches, a powerful step toward transforming communities.

Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with the most common response being, “We’ve never had training exclusively for discipling men.”
These men left encouraged despite facing persecution, equipped with tools, lesson guides, and a renewed passion to reach and disciple men in their churches and communities.
We ask for your prayers—that the Lord uses this teaching to ignite strong men’s discipleship movements across Indian churches. Many of these brothers endure persecution, and your prayers for their strength, encouragement, and safety are deeply valued.
